PURPOSE

To establish standards of conduct for students of Çï¿ûÊÓƵ

POLICY

Çï¿ûÊÓƵ provides opportunities for students in pursuit of their educational and employment goals, while contributing to the economic and cultural enrichment of our communities. We do this in a manner that exhibits concern and sensitivity to students, faculty, staff, and others who utilize our services and facilities. It is essential that members of Çï¿ûÊÓƵ exhibit appropriate and conscientious behavior in dealing with others.

We expect all students to conduct themselves according to the standards set below that are consistent with our guiding principles of Respect; Integrity; Open and Honest Communication; and Collaboration. Student conduct which interferes with those standards is not acceptable. Students are expected to comply with these standards for conduct both on and off campus and acknowledge the college’s authority to take necessary disciplinary action.

On January 9, 2025, a federal district court issued a decision vacating the 2024 Final Rule. Consistent with the court's order, the U.S. Department of Education has confirmed on their that the 2024 Title IX regulations are no longer in effect in any jurisdiction. As per the , released February 4, 2025, SVC is working to update relevant items consistent with the 2020 Title IX Rule.
